davis academy
[ ]the atrium,
the very first thing you see and enter when you go into Davis. it was one of the first buildings built when the school was established in 1919. the school was originally established by franciscan priests but in 2000, Mr. Marvin Davis, a well known and extremely wealthy owner of an entertainment firm became an official patron of the school. from then on the children of the famous and wealthy have walked through this building to get to school.

[ ]sullivan library,
the library is a fountain of knowledge. with thousands of books and computer resources at one's disposal, one definitely can finish a term paper, study for that calculus test, or any other academic pursuit. but other things can happen in a library too.

00
[ ]kennedy building,
this building is three floors, each floor decked with a different department of learning. on the first floor is social studies and english. on the second floor, math and science. on the third floor is where all elective classes take places inc. foreing language, publications, etc.

00
[ ]the courtyard,
the beauty of the outside let's the students of Davis have a nice place to hang out whenever they have free time. a lot of the time at lunch, students get take out and eat here. this space is perfect for meeting with friends, gossiping, and maybe even for the occasional catfight to go down

[ ]buchannan gymnasium,
named after one of our huge donor families, the buchannan gymnasium is where all the main competitive sports are played. when the athletes aren't outside they're playing inside either working in out in the world-class weight room or swimming laps in an olympic sized pool.

00
[ ]johnson field,
the field is usually where most sports are played. sure we all love the gymnasium, but thats inside, and we all need our fresh air outside. and this is where most of the boys get it. football, soccer, basketball, everything is played here.

00
[ ]howard hall of the arts,
though academics and athletics are huge in this school, it doesn't mean the school's budget wasn't put into its arts programs. equipped with an art studio that has the world's finest materials for all mediums, a recording studio and practice rooms for musicians, and a theater with a performance stage with state of the art light systems, set pieces, and costumes for our performers. any artist should feel welcome here.

[ ]the westside,
West Los Angeles is the part of the city encircled by Beverly Hills and Wilshire on the east, and Santa Monica and the Pacific Ocean on the west, the Santa Monica Mountains on the north, and Culver City and El Segundo on the south. While the area is inhabited by a wide range of socioeconomic groups, it undoubtedly houses the largest concentration of wealth in the city. Attracted by its rolling hills on the north end, and close proximity to the ocean, early developers succeeded in establishing some of the most upscale residential districts in the city and the county. Pre-eminent among these are Bel-Air and Pacific Palisades. Yet further south, pockets of working class areas remain in those areas closest to former industrial areas like those near South LA and Culver City.

in till everything burns ...
[ ]the valley,
The largest region of the city is the San Fernando Valley, often referred to as "the Valley," and which includes portions of the Crescenta Valley. It is mainly suburban, and houses a wide-range of socioeconomic groups. It comprises about forty percent of the city's area and population. Mulholland Drive in the Santa Monica Mountains forms its southern boundary. It has gone through periodic clashes with the rest of the city over policy, culminating in a failed effort to incorporate as a city in 2002.

00
[ ]greater hollywood,
Formerly a religious colony then an independent city, Hollywood was annexed by Los Angeles in 1910. Its name is synonymous with the motion picture industry, yet, much of movie production has moved out to neighboring cities. Tourists flock around Hollywood Boulevard and gaze up to the mountains to see the Hollywood sign. The last decade has brought in new life to the once-struggling parts of the Hollywood district with various developments taking advantage of the subway stations built within the past decade. The wealth of the neighborhoods here are strongly influenced by elevation with some of the wealthiest tracts in the country are up in the Hollywood Hills and gradually lessen to pockets of large working-class and transient populations further southeast.

00
[ ]harbor area,
Harbor Area is the area along the Port of Los Angeles. Following the Harbor Gateway south to the port leads to the Harbor area, an enclave of L.A. surrounded by independent cities and annexed so the city would have full right-of-way to the port. The leading neighborhood of the harbor area is San Pedro.

00
[ ]wilshire,
The Wilshire area lies north of the Santa Monica Freeway, east of Beverly Hills, west of Downtown and south of Hollywood. It is a collection of wealthy, middle, and working class neighborhoods that cluster around Wilshire Boulevard. Unlike other parts of Los Angeles the wealthier neighborhoods are set not in the hills, but rather on leveled land north of Wilshire Boulevard, east of Beverly Hills such as Larchmont, and Hancock Park. On the lower end, Koreatown is an example of a somewhat struggling neighborhood undergoing a revival.

00
the city of angels
[ ]walk rodeo drive like a runway,
style and fashion is an important asset to the life of girl, especially one who goes to Davis. guy's not so much, but they can't be walking around naked as much as we want them to. people judge you left and right on appearances, so it is important to look hot. this is where rodeo drive comes into the picture. its the shopping district of the rich and famous, as well as the shopping district for tourists to search for the rich and famous. from Prada to Louis Vuitton, you'll find your niche here. so go off and shop til you drop.

00
[ ]party like a rockstar,
Los Angeles is a bustling city in the daytime, but at night you have the same hustle and bustle, but in the relaxed and fun environment in the clubs. L.A. has some of the most legendary nightlife, so party the night away. from the decadent basque to the reality TV famed les deux to the infamous viper room. bottoms up, jetsetters!
